| Nebido injection (testosterone)
Nebido injection contains the active ingredient testosterone undecanoate, which is an ester of the naturally occurring male hormone testosterone. Testosterone is known as an androgen. It is produced by the testicles and is the main hormone essential for normal growth and development of the male sex organs and male sexual characteristics. The natural production of testosterone is controlled by another set of hormones called gonadotrophins, which are released from the pituitary gland in the brain. During adult life, testosterone is essential for the production of sperm, the maintenance of sex drive, erectile potency, and the functioning of the prostate gland and other reproductive structures. It also has functions in the skin, muscles, skeleton, kidney, liver, bone marrow and central nervous system.

Farm Events on the Horizon
Three upcoming events catering to the farm community are fast approaching. First, the Virginia Organic Producers and Consumers Association is sponsering a talk at Buchannan Hall in Upperville February 28th at 10AM entitled "Gettying Certified Organic; Financial Benefits of Third Party Certification." It might sound dry, but having attended this group's events in Upperville before, you're liable to come out with some new ideas even if you aren't an organic convert. The VOPCA is also sponsoring a second event at Buchannan Hall on March 6th at 10AM entitled "Farm to Consumer to Farm; Strengthening the Link" A panel of local producers will be on hand to talk about their efforts in attempting to link the buyers desires to the producers products. Loudoun County's own Kate Zurschmeide of Great Country Farms in Bluemont will be presenting.
